This meditation is for feeling incapable. It is very common to feel incapable, especially when we are trying new things, or if we don’t have a natural talent for what we want to do. It’s not that we cannot do things, it more often is about insecurity that we think we cannot do something. Each person is capable of a lot of things, being on your own path with your own interests, with your own talents, your own insights, your own thoughts and feelings is what needs to be embraced instead of feeling incapable. So, if we really want to become good at something then the best thing is to go for it. Spend as much time if you need to, to become, or to get to a level you feel you are becoming capable. But in the meantime it is more about embracing yourself for who you are. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try things. You should, because trying new things is exciting, and if you fail, it mostly serves you as your teacher to figure out what you need to do to become proficient, and not as a failure. Though always remember no one person can do everything. So try first with all your best, and if you still feel it is too hard then just let it go, and start concentrating on the things you can do and learn to do. This is true for everyone, though at the same time don’t let your insecurity define you cannot do something. Be real about it, and then just let it go. It is alright when there are things you cannot do, just as it is for everyone else. Don’t let it bring you down.
In this meditation we are concentrating on the things we think we cannot do because of insecurity but actually we can. So let’s start the meditation.
Put your hands on your chest. And feel your hands on your chest as a soothing embrace of yourself. Feel the warmth of your hands on your chest, which radiates inside of you. Make sure you sit down in a chair with your back straight, or sit in a meditation or lotus pose, or lay down somewhere comfortable where you won’t get disturbed. You can leave your hands on your chest, or you can otherwise open your hands with the palms up, making sure your thumbs are touching your pointers or middle fingers. Or let your hands fold on top of one another laying on your lap. Now, close your eyes gently, and allow your thoughts to disappear as little white puffy clouds on a blue sky, just visualize, sense, think, feel, imagine, any way you can do it, seeing little white clouds drifting from the sky, which is how your thoughts drift away. Just let them go, and just be present in this moment. See them drifting and drifting far away until there is nothing else left but a beautiful blue sky.
With this mediation we are going to bring you to the deeper core of yourself, to the real center of who you are, to embrace that part of you, to build it up, and to trust the path you are taking in this life. So lets start with three deep breaths. And when you breathe in, you breathe in the light into your body from the universe, the golden white light, entering your body, and when you breathe out through your mouth, you let go of stress and negative thoughts, hurt, anger, anything that sits in your body that isn’t helpful to you. So lets start. Take a deep breath in, visualize, sense, think, feel, imagine, any way you can do it, the beautiful golden white light entering into your body through your nose. Fill your body up with light, and then breathe out through your mouth all that you don’t want within you. Let it go. And again, take a deep breath in through your nose, visualize the light coming into your body, and breathe out through your mouth, let it go, stress, pain, insecurity, anything that sits there. One more time lets take a deep breath all the way in, and visualize the light coming in through your nose, spreading throughout your body, and breathe out all what you don’t want to carry within. So from here on you will be guided to the very center of you, for most people it is sitting right under your ribcage in the middle of your chest, at the top of your stomach. So when you breathe in, ask your breath to take you to the very core of you, to the very center, and when you breathe out you let go of any stress you come across along the way to your core. So breathe in, and ask your breath, please take me to my core, to the center of my being, and then let go of stuff when you breathe out. And wIth your next breath in you go a little deeper, and focus all your attention on doing just that, and with the next breath in, focus on going deeper and deeper, and with the next breath in going even deeper until you get to the very very very core of you.
And the next breath you go even further and further and deeper and deeper. Until you reach the pure center of your essence. Deep down internally in you. Take one more breath like that, to take you to the very deepest point, to the core of who you are. Now, sense, think, feel, imagine a little light there in that center, and see how that light is kind of surrounded by waste, by stuff you don’t need to carry within you, stuff that diminishes your power, stuff that is not kind to you, stuff that makes you feel less. So you are going to clean that up, so with each breath you are going into that waste and you break it up with light, and breathe it out through your mouth and send it off. So take a deep breath in, into the waste surrounding your core, and break it up with light, and breathe it out through your mouth, and let go. And the next breath in, go into the waste around your light, and breathe out what doesn’t belong there, to build you up. And the next breath go into it again and make sure you get all the waste that surrounds your core, and breathe it out. Now, do this on your own for a minute, continue without my guidance and I will be back soon.
Good. Now, take one more breath in there, breathe in light, warmth and love, and let go of what doesn’t belong there. Then notice how your little internal light is getting stronger. Put your attention, your focus, right there on that spot just under your ribcage in the middle of your body. Acknowledge that is it is there, and that it is alive, that you are alive, and that your inner core has its own path in life, filled with surprises, capabilities, and things that we come across in life, and that you as your core, as who you are, are on your own path separately from others. Then connect with the fact that you are very capable. Because when we feel not capable we will make mistakes. So release the feelings of being incapable from your body right now. And replace it with the kind words that you are capable, very capable. So breathe in capability into that core and feel how strong and capable you are, and that everything you don’t know, you can learn, at least most of things if we set our minds and our hearts to it. So trust your inner core to guide you with your strength, and ask it to always remind you that you are capable, you are strong, that you are curious, and that you can learn. Even in moments where you are not successful. Because the moments of not being successful serve you as teachers, ask what you can learn from it, so you can approach it from a different way next time. So commit to this process to your very own core. Say I am committed to being capable, being curious, to being open to learning, and to being strong, as I am on my own path differently from others. And then breathe light into that spot with love and embracement, and kindness, and openness to go into the world as that person we just supported. Sit with that feeling for a little bit with strength. Good, now bring some joy into that spot, the joy of life and the of being capable if you want to, the joy of your strength and your courage, and then slowly when you are ready, wiggle your toes, and wiggle your fingers, and open your eyes to a new look onto yourself and how you’re going to manifest yourself into that life. Namaste.
