Affirmation
Overwhelmed
Repeat the affirmation several times until you feel an internal shift.
When we get too busy, or have too many emotions to deal with at once, we may begin to feel overwhelmed, often way before we actually notice. Life gives us these moments to take a step back, and look at what is really going on. When feeling overwhelmed, take the time to regroup, adjust, and make beneficial choices and changes. Know that this is a part of life and that everyone experiences these feelings from time to time.
Affirmation for a busy life: “I am a hard worker, and I make sure my life is in order with the things I have to do. I care about all that is part of my life. I am doing the best that I can. I am able to look within and understand why I feel so overwhelmed, and I can make safe plans of action to create positive changes for a more manageable life. I am very capable and feel powerful in adjusting my life as needed.”
Affirmation for circling emotions: “I feel lost in all the emotions that keep on circling in my mind. I have a hard time concentrating on anything else because I feel overwhelmed by my emotions. I care about my feelings. I am doing the best I can. I am able to look within and choose to shift my emotions to a more manageable place. I can make safe plans of actions to create positive changes in my life. I have the wisdom to change the things that are changeable and to let go of things I have no influence over. I am very capable and I feel powerful in adjusting my feelings and thoughts as needed. “
